Looking to interview locals about environmental issues for articles in Examiner.com

Peace and Blessings,

I just started writing freelance for Examiner.com as the Savannah Environmental News Examiner. I would love to feature stories about people in Savannah who are working to protect the environment. Here's a link to view the articles I've written so far:

SOUL-PATROL.com PRESS RELEASE :

"As you all know, in my humble opinion, Billy Jones is one of the most compelling artists around on today's NuBlues music scene.

For his latest album, he has put together a collection of his best songs on a single album called "The Billy Jones Story." This is something that I wish more artists should do with some of the outstanding music they have released and I am glad to see that Billy has taken that step.

These songs are…

2010 Harlem Book Fair: Next Stop for Christian Authors on Tour (CAOT)

Peace Everyone,

I recently moved to Savannah to live, and I am part of a group of Christian authors. I'm posting info about our next fellowship event in July at the 2010 Harlem Book Festival. I would love to meet up with other Christian writers and/or authors in the Savannah area. I'm really excited because I was just able to get the local library to purchase a copy of my book. I'm really hoping to connect with others in the area who want to work together to share our book… Continue

Savannah Collage of art and Design (SCAD), I have been told, is the largest art school in the world. Its students and faculty has certainly anointed Savannah with a new flavor. The "District" is their publication. I have found it to be very interesting. I am providing the link here> http://www.scaddistrict.com/ for your enjoyment.

    Tribute to a Friend

Three unique buildings, three distinct collections, bridging three centuries of art & architecture
The Telfair Museum of Art traces its history from 1886 when the Telfair family home opened to the public as an art museum and school. It now boasts three diverse sites -- the original building, the Telfair Academy of Arts and Sciences, a National Historic Landmark building; the Owens-Thomas House, also a National Historic Landmark; and the Jepson Center for the Arts, a contemporary building which houses 20th- and 21st-century art.

Designed by internationally acclaimed architect Moshe Safdie, the 64,000-sq. ft. Jepson Center for the Arts is a state-of-the-art museum facility. It features expanded gallery spaces, expanded educational resources, much-needed art storage facilities, sculpture gardens, an auditorium, café and museum store.

Over the years the Telfair has become an invaluable confluence of arts, culture and history that reaches out to its audience through a diverse schedule of exhibitions and programs. Among the city's most-visited attractions.

Located inside the Savannah’s Visitor Information Center, The Savannah History Museum gives visitors a look into the city’s fascinating past from 1733 to the present day. Take your time as you stroll through a variety of exhibits that chronicle the many events and people that have shaped this grand city. See a steam locomotive from the Central of Georgia Railroad and the fashion exhibit that displays women’s evening gowns from the late 1800’s to the 1960’s. Other "must sees" include The Revolutionary War exhibit and the carriage owned by Juliette Gordon Low, the Founder of the Girl Scouts. Other exhibits include weapons and military uniforms, the bench featured in the movie Forrest Gump and items from Savannah’s railway history.
